Horse Shows

Prince Charming

At Eaton Equestrian Centre, LLC we are proud of our Show Record—our Riders successfully compete at every level, from Local Novice Schooling Shows to National Competitions. Our Riders show their own Horses or ride our proven Competition Horses; Riders are paired with our Horses according to their experience, from our Beginner Lessons Masters to our Advanced Open Champions. We offer Riders who need it the opportunity to participate in our Working Student Program, where they can earn credits to ride the Horses appropriate to their skill level.

State Show Circuit

Many of our Riders participate in the State Show Circuit, either through the Open/Rated Shows or through the Novice/Schooling Shows. Since opening, our Horses and Riders have won Alaska State Championships every year. Our Riders compete successfully in Hunter, Jumper, Equitation, and Dressage, winning both Show and Year-End Championships. They have qualified for the ASH Dressage Medal and are frequently finalists and winners of the prestigious ASH Hunter Seat Medal.

National Shows

We just completed our third annual trip to Indio’s Desert Circuit, where our Horses and Riders have won ribbons in the Level 3 to Level 7 Jumpers every year. In 2005, our Riders won two Jumper Championships at Indio.

Alaskan bred and trained Second Chance (“Stilts”) was a Champion Jumper in Saratoga, Cincinnati, Syracuse, and Detroit in preparation for the Young Riders Competition, where she and Dana Eaton won Individual Ribbons. They were Show Champion at each show leading up to Young Riders, including winners of the Saratoga Cup.

Stilts was sold to a member of Mexico’s Jumping Team, and with her new owner went on to win Individual and Team Gold; her owner also won the Good Sportsmanship Award.
