Second Chance

Second Chance

Alaskan bred and trained Second Chance (“Stilts”) was a Champion Jumper in Saratoga, Cincinnati, Syracuse, and Detroit in preparation for the Young Riders Competition, where she and Dana Eaton won Individual Ribbons. They were Show Champion at each show leading up to Young Riders, including winners of the Saratoga Cup. Stilts was sold to a member of Mexico’s Jumping Team, and with her new owner went on to win Individual and Team Gold; her owner also won the Good Sportsmanship Award.

Peter Pan

Peter Pan

Petey came to Alaska in the winter of 2003 to be Katherine’s jumping pony. She was just coming off of being walk/trot champion, and was starting to jump. She did walk/trot with him his first summer and ended up reserve champion! The next year she did the short stirrup and received ribbons at all the horse shows, and when she could get the canter, she won her hacks. Her last summer with Petey before she got too big for him, she was Champion for year end in the Beginning Jumpers and Reserve Champion at Zone Finals for the Pony Hunters. Petey went down to California in 2007 where he was sold to teach another young girl how to jump.

Ariel

Ariel

Ariel was purchased by EEC in late 2005 as a 3 year old. She then traveled down to Thermal where she received ribbons at her first horse show, and first time doing courses. She is a fancy medium pony that is just a doll to have around. Her new owner had been searching for 2 years for her pony, and fell in love with Ariel. We wish them both the best of luck.

Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh was bought in 2002 and brought home to EEC. He sold in 2006 at Indio, and has continued his show career in the Children’s Jumpers, Hunters and Equitation, earning ribbons at Thermal, Indio, and other shows in California.

Taco

Taco

Taco was purchased by EEC and earned championships in the hunters and jumpers before being sold to Elizabeth Johnson. Taco was Level 3 Champion at Indio in 2005 and barely missed out on 2nd half circuit Reserve Championship in Level 3. Taco was sold in 2006 at Indio.
