Our Facilities

Eaton Equestrian Centre, LLC is located on Anchorage's Hillside, adjacent to Forsythe Park. Our property has two Barns, an Indoor and Outdoor Arena, and Individual Turnout Paddocks. Our Main Barn features several Grooming Stalls, Tack Lockers for Owners and Leasers, a School Horse Tack Room with brushes and equipment for Lesson Riders, and convenient crossties throughout the barn. During the Winter, the stall and tack area is heated for horse and rider comfort and to keep tack in optimum condition.

The Main Barn opens directly into our 70x150 foot Indoor Arena. The Arena has a sand and shredded rubber footing, some of the best in the state. During the Winter, the Arena is kept at an exercise-friendly temperature. Our Arena is available to rent for events or for riders who need a place to work that is protected from the elements. Our larger Outdoor Arena has a sand, rubber, and shredded bark footing and is used for Summer lessons.

Our location couldn't be better for trail riding—we're adjacent to Forsythe Park with access to trails in Chugach National Park. The city's William C. Chamberlain Equestrian Center is only minutes away and offers several Outdoor Arenas, a Round Pen, a 20x60 meter Dressage Ring, and its own Trail System. Cross Park, diagonally across Birch Road from our Facilities, offers another public riding arena as well. We are approximately 45 minutes from the Alaska State Fairgrounds, where many of the Summer Shows are held.
